Dholera SIR master plan and mega-projects
Airport - Semiconductor fab - Expressway - Solar park - Rail - Townships
Dholera Special Investment Region (Dholera SIR) is India's first greenfield smart city and the flagship node of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC), planned across roughly 920 sq km of Dholera taluka in Ahmedabad district, Gujarat, and implemented by the special-purpose vehicle Dholera Industrial City Development Limited (DICDL). Between 2026 and 2035, a cluster of anchor projects moves from construction into operation: the Dholera International Airport near Navagam, the Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway, the Tata Electronics and PSMC semiconductor fab, the Dholera Solar Park, a Bhimnath rail link tied to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, and a planned metro/MRTS corridor. This guide lays out each project with a dated status and its source, so you can separate what is built from what is reported or planned.
